Hello Red Bull family!
Guys, I feel very proud and privileged to announce I am now a Red Bull Athlete!
27th of January 2021 was THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!
On Wednesday, January 27, I turned 16 years old. The day started as usual – school in the morning and BMX training after. But when I came to BMX park in Tržič things got really excited! I turned on the lights and surprise awaited me right in the middle of indoor park. There were a lot of close friends, photographer, videographer, coaches, and other important people from RB. When I saw all of them, I was speechless. I instantly knew that I just got the best birthday present of my life – Red Bull helmet! The helmet was handed to me by my coach Senad Grosic, who is also an ambassador of the Red Bull brand for many years and their athlete.

So on this day, I joined the six Slovenian athletes under the wings of Red Bull. These are: Peter Kauzer (kayak), Filip Flisar (cross-country skiing), Janja Garnbret (climbing), Domen Škofic (climbing), David Pleše (triathlon) and Luka Kovačič (mountain running).
I am also one of the youngest in the RB family of athletes, and the first Slovenian cyclist or even an athlete on two wheels. In fact, the first on any bike.

I am fully aware that I wouldn’t be here without my team and I will be thankful to them for the rest of my life!

Becoming a Red Bull-sponsored athlete can be a career-changing moment for athletes. Their approach is second to none and I want to thank @redbull to keep believing in the philosophy of supporting young prospects. Now it’s my turn to make the most of the opportunity. The only way is up!
